Well organized and eventful to say the least, and extremely informative. A learning experience, meeting with different people of different cultures, to better understand and learn about the cultures we live and interact with. 

 
Through the Africa Region, markets had a downfall due to the events that transpired last year and the beginning of this year, namely Ebola, security issues, etc.  This means that the travel and tours industry today has to find new and innovative ways to promote the Brand and our products. I feel it is our duty to ensure that people do not feel unsafe or apprehensive about coming to Africa, but should embrace the beauty of what they are about to experience. The security issues and Ebola scare do not exist in most parts of Africa and the East and Southern Sahara parts are free of Ebola with all the African Nations taking great precautions to contain it. Recent news about opening up some of the Ebola infected areas is much needed good news.
 
The main thing that I came out of the Partner Network Conference was that we are all one Brand with a Blue Box and passionate about what we do, and how we do it matters – ethics and the right way to conduct business while at the same time appreciating the customers we have within our own American Express Network. This is what makes us unite within the vast cultural backgrounds that we come from.
 
It was a pleasure to meet new people and the usual suspects to re connect with, as always.
