With Christmas fast approaching and travel plans being laid out, families and friends around the world will be looking forward to spending time together to relax and catch up on the past year and reflect on the coming year.
Again this year, Rickshaw Travels is joining Tushikamane Pamoja Foundation to bring Christmas cheer to our Seniors in Dar es salaam. Please join us in this worthy cause by visiting any one of our offices.
Here is how you can participate in our “Be a Santa to a Senior” drive:
1. Christmas trees at all our offices will be decorated with gift-card ornaments, each with a recommended monetary value
2. Please come in and pick up any one of those ornament cards.
3. Donate the chosen monetary value.
It’s that simple.
All the money collected will be used to purchase food and other necessities such as clothing, mosquito nets, flasks, buckets, etc., which will be distributed to the seniors by Rickshaw volunteers.
Our Be a Santa to a Senior program will be accepting gifts and/or money for the next two to four weeks, depending on the location. We thank you in advance for your generous contributions and allowing us to bring cheer to these very deserving elders of our community.
