Illegal wildlife trade - Prince Charles and sons call for action

The recent London Conference on Illegal Wildlife Trade was held at Lancaster House and attended by the Prince of Wales, and his sons, Princes William and Harry. Forty-six countries agreed on a declaration to tackle the illegal wildlife trade that is killing thousands of elephants, rhinos and other endangered species each year.

The Prince of Wales has said there is ''not a moment to lose'' to stop the slaughter of elephants, rhino and other endangered animals. Celebrities like Jackie Chan, David Beckham and Yao Ming were also there to help further spread the word about protecting wildlife from poachers and the only way to do that is to reduce the demand for ivory.
