Travelling Solo this Christmas

Are you planning a solo trip this holiday season?

Traditionally, Christmas is seen as a time to spend quality time with family and friends. Sometimes, however, the expectation is not the reality. Travellers can find themselves alone during the holiday season due to many reasons.
If you plan to spend this holiday season alone, make it more exciting!

Get away from your Christmas boredom with an exciting safari

A Christmas in the wilderness might be just what you're looking for if you want to enjoy a secluded time with a good book and the sounds of nature.

There is no shortage of options when it comes to safari packages. Spend five days in Tanzania's Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro National Parks or three days in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve, and experience the most spectacular game viewing in Africa.

A balanced Christmas holiday

To maintain a balance between avoiding Christmas and getting into the Christmas spirit, a city trip may be a good option for solo travellers.

Visit Sun City, South Africa for four days and enjoy the sun, cocktails, swimming pools and many more activities offered by the resort or visit Dubai for six days to catch the ongoing Dubai Expo 2020.

You may also wish to consider travelling to Zanzibar, Tanzania or Watamu, Kenya.

Experience four days in Watamu, a little seaside town in Kenya, north of Mombasa, where you can explore its marine reserve and three gorgeous bays. Similarly, you can enjoy three days in Zanzibar. Spend the time exploring the streets of Stone Town, savouring street food and listening to the sounds of waves on the beach.

This holiday, if you're alone, try travelling to recharge and get away from the stress of home and loneliness. Spend Christmas in a different destination and experience the local culture.
