Are you planning a trip to Dubai in the near future?  If you are, you might want to know about this new “Tourism Dirham” that you will have to pay, separately, as a guest staying in any type of hotel establishment including, hotel apartments, guest houses and holiday homes.

This fee will be levied per occupied room night, and will be represented as a separate line item in the bill payable by the guest upon check-out. The Municipality charge and the service charge will not be levied on this fee.
