Eco-Tourism Park Coming To Rwanda
A 134-hectare urban eco-park is coming to Kigali in 2020. The Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-Tourism Park will include walking and cycling trails, fish ponds, botanical gardens and more, while still conserving wetlands for local habitat. The park will be in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Kigali, with the government’s focus on restoring the area’s flora and bird life to be enjoyed by tourists and residents and available for researchers.
