Travellers passing through Addis Ababa and flying Ethiopian Airlines to their destination can now stopover in Ethiopia through new packages being offered through Ethiopian Airlines and Ethiopian Holidays. These short holidays will allow travelers to see many historic, cultural and national treasures in the country. Sites to see include a tour of the capital Addis Ababa, medieval churches in Lalibela and mosques in Harara.

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam said, “The world has yet to truly discover Ethiopia. With the stopover packages, we aim to attract a significant portion of our transit customers in Addis as tourists and to considerably enhance the flow of tourism into the country.”
