Etihad Airways, who recently won the “World’s Leading Airline” award at the annual World Travel Awards, unveiled plans to fly its Boeing 787s to five more destinations during 2016. Beginning May 2016, the 299-seat 787 Dreamliners will be deployed as replacements for existing aircraft on daily scheduled services to Dusseldorf, Perth, Shanghai, Istanbul and Johannesburg from the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub.
As well, the airline has confirmed that four more destinations, namely Birmingham, Prague, Taipai and Barcelona will see the currently used B777 aircraft replaced by the Airbus A380.
