Kenya Airways expects to launch a non-stop, direct flight from Nairobi, Kenya to Cape Town, South Africa on June 06.

Helena Maxwell, area manager, Southern and Central Africa, Kenya Airways, confirmed the news to local media, according to South African travel trade website eTNW.
The airline currently operates three flights a week from Nairobi to Cape Town via Victoria Falls on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; and six weekly flights via Livingstone, Zambia.
The new direct service is scheduled to operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using a Boeing B737-800.
