Malawi Airlines has introduced new flights to Nairobi and Zanzibar which will see the airline flying into the two destinations four times a week.

With its daily flight into Johannesburg, it means passengers can now connect between Johannesburg and Nairobi four times a week on Malawi Airlines.

The flights will commence end of March this year. A statement from the airline indicates that the development is in line with the company’s expansion drive.

“And with Lilongwe as our hub, the new Nairobi route offers our passengers convenience and value for money connections to the rest of the region,” the statement said.

The Airline said it remains committed to its on-time performance and warm inflight service while ensuring the safety of passengers and baggage.

It has since pledged to offer competitive fare charges to meet its customer’s economic needs.
Malawi Airlines is Malawi’s new flag carrier established in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines which has a 49 percent shareholding while the Malawi Government holds 51 percent stake.
