Malawian adds new flights

Malawi Airlines has introduced two new destinations to Nairobi (direct flight) and Zanzibar. The Nairobi fights will commence on March 29, 2017 and Zanzibar on April 5, 2017.

With its daily flight into Johannesburg, it means passengers can now connect between Johannesburg and Nairobi four times a week on Malawi Airlines.

The flights will commence end of March this year. A statement from the airline indicates that the development is in line with the company’s expansion drive.

The flight to Nairobi comes with free checked baggage allowance of two Pieces weighing 23 Kilogrammes maximum each for Economy Class while for Zanzibar is 30 kilogrammes maximum for Economy Class and 40 kilogrammes maximum for Business Class.

“And with Lilongwe as our hub, the new Nairobi route offers our passengers convenience and value for money connections to the rest of the region,” the statement said.

The Airline said it remains committed to its on-time performance and warm inflight service while ensuring the safety of passengers and baggage.
