Muslim Prayer Facilities New To Kruger National Park

27th December, 2018 15:47:50

The first Muslim prayer facility in a South African national park has opened at Kruger, located at the Skukuza rest camp. Guests can find the facility between the clock tower and the Stevenson Hamilton Memorial Library. And Kruger plans to open four more facilities at Lower Sabie and Satara rest camps, and Afsaal and Tshokwane picnic sites. The new facilities will include a wash up area (Wudhu facility for both males and females); however Muslim guests will need to provide their own prayer mats (Musallas). The addition of these prayer spaces makes the park more accessible to a larger number of guests and welcoming to visitors of different faiths.
