Ndutu Airstrip in Tanzania Temporarily Closed
Ndutu Airstrip in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania will be closed for maintenance until December 14th. Though the timing is not convenient for travelers wanting to see the great migration as it heads south, Coastal Aviation will work with its customers to create alternative options. For existing and future bookings, the airline is offering flights into Lake Manyara airfield, or to the closest airstrips in the Serengeti. Travelers should note that landing in Serengeti Park makes them liable to pay park fees.
