Tristar Air – the new budget domestic airline in Kenya – is a collaboration between three existing airlines – BushAir, Radufu and BuffAir. While these three airlines focus on cargo flights, Tristar Air is their venture into the passenger airline market.

Donald Kigali Band, Head of Sales and Marketing at Tristar Air said, “Currently Tristar is a weekend operator, with flights from Friday through to Monday on its various routes,” though he noted that the airline is looking to increase the frequency of flights. Tristar Air operates flights from Wilson Airport to Mombasa, Ukunda, Takaba, Mandera, Kisumu and Eldoret, and from Eldoret to Lodwar.
