New Requirements for Visiting Mara Triangle in Kenya

Beginning December 1, any visitor who is not carrying a valid ticket in the Mara Triangle in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve will be fined Ksh10,000 (€86), plus the cost of the ticket. Valid Narok Park tickets will be accepted for those staying in a camp or lodge within the reserve, or for visitors who spent the majority of their game drive in the reserve. Tickets purchased at Musiara for the purpose of visiting the Mara Traingle will not be accepted. Balloon safari clients must also have valid tickets for the Mara Triangle. All travellers should consult with their tour operators to ensure they are in possession of a valid ticket for the Mara Triangle before entry.
