Old Vaccination Books No Longer Valid in Tanzania
Old Vaccination books issued in Tanzania are No longer valid and accepted. Travellers can not travel using those vaccination cards. Non Tanzanians travellers should have vaccination cards acquired from their countries of origin.
Below is the procedure of getting new vaccination card for Tanzanian:
To get your old yellow fever book changed, if you were vacinated at anatoglo, mnazi moja, you have to go with your old yellow fever book and fill an application form which the officer will approve in order to cancel your old book. They will attach your filled form and then you have to go to room no. 58 where they do vaccinations and pay TSH 5,000/- to get the new International yellow fever book.
