Rickshaw Travels presented the Plusone award in the Hospitality & Services
Rickshaw Travels Kenya Ltd has been presented the Plusone award in the Hospitality & Services Sector of the CIO100 2010 Premier annual awards competition.
The CI0 100 Awards honors companies for their innovation in IT based solutions towards tackling business problems and enhancing growth.
The competition attracted 350 participants within the East African region competing for inclusion in the top 100.
The PlusOne is awarded to the most outstanding IT innovation in six different sectors namely: Financial, Manufacturing, Hospitality & Services, Government, Education and Media.
Sponsors of the event included amongst others - hp, CISCO, SAP, ADS, CiTRiX, SAMSUNG,Synovate, IBM and Microsoft.
Rickshaw Travels Kenya Ltd is part of the Rickshaw Travels Group which has offices in Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Kigali, with franchise offices in Johannesburg, Harare and London.
Rickshaw showcased its innovative idea through a tool termed PROSELL which was directed at enhancing the itinerary quoting system by subjecting the itinerary build-up through a quality assurance process, which relies on input received from our online travel request form.
