The visa fee for all foreign visitors traveling into Uganda only has increased to US $100 per person. Effective immediately, all visitors to Uganda must be prepared to pay $100 for their visas which are still obtainable upon arrival.

Meanwhile, the Single Tourist Visa for East Africa allows tourists multiple entries into Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda for a period of 90 days and also simplifies the visa application process. It was launched a year ago, and is cheaper at $100 as opposed to $200 for the three different visas to the same countries.
