Saloon cars and mini-vans are part of our own fleet, whereas buses are sub-contracted. The vehicles undergo regular mechanical inspection and have proper and valid certifications inclusive of PSV license, road license and Comprehensive Insurance.
Our drivers possess valid certificates of good conduct, drivers' licenses, are medically insured and wear uniforms for identification. Our drivers prioritize your safety and are instructed to use the safest routes to your destinations.

A valid passport with at least 6 months left before it expires is mandatory. Travellers are responsible for obtaining their visas. Some countries require you have at least one or two empty pages in the passport. Because visa regulations and requirements are changing constantly, we strive to send you the latest update at time of booking for your country of travel. In Kenya and Tanzania, visas can be obtained on arrival at a cost.
Rickshaw Travels will provide you, upon request, assistance with obtaining visas.
Rules and regulations of the respective embassies and consulates will apply, however, details pertaining to each of these will be communicated to you as and when the need arises.
Certain embassies require you to apply for visas in person. In such cases all the prerequisites will be prepared and you will be assisted up until the point of appearing in person at the embassy.

This is a category set to satisfy the travel needs of groups under one travel package. In this class, we a range of Vans, air conditioned Shuttles and Coaches.
All vehicles are scrutinized by Rickshaw Travels prior to delivery / collection in cities where we are located.
With our 24 hour Emergency Service, our senior managers and staff are on call after working hours, during weekends and on public holidays, to deal with any travel related emergencies. As well, any emergency after hour travel requests can be arranged with our Travel Consultants on call.
The Rickshaw works closely with WDA, a company specializing in the provision of Close Protection services at various levels to Government dignitaries, Presidents, Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities, international businessmen, diplomats and UN and ICC officers. They are UK trained, certified bodyguards and / or highly skilled in close combat, weapons handling, explosives, conflict management and electronic counter surveillance. Depending on client requirement they are available either armed or unarmed.
