This itinerary offers an exciting and culturally enriching journey through some of Mexico's most famous destinations. Starting in the bustling capital city of Mexico City, you will explore the ancient Teotihuacán Pyramids and the renowned Museum of Anthropology. Then, the journey takes you to colonial Puebla, Oaxaca, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Palenque, and Campeche, where you will discover the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. You will also visit some of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan culture such as Chichen Itza and Uxmal, before finally ending the tour in the beautiful city of Cancun. This itinerary offers a perfect balance between history, culture, and natural beauty, providing an unforgettable experience for travelers.

Day 1: Arrival to Mexico City (MEX)
Our staff will wait the clients with banner (surname of the clients) inside of the airport Terminal. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: City Tour - Teotihuacan Pyramids - Museum of Anthropology
This tour will take you to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, which is one of the most impressive sites of the Aztec World. Located only one hour outside of Mexico City. You will have a chance to see the complexities of Aztec treasures, the magnificent Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Also, you will see the Butterflies Temple, the Avenue of the Dead, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl.
We will take you to the historical centre of Mexico City and you will see: “Zocalo”, the main national square, ruins of the ancient Aztec city Tenochtitlan, the Cathedral and the National Palace with murals made by Diego Rivera.
During the City tour we also will visit the famous Anthropology Museum with the great collection of pre-Hispanic artefacts.

Day 3: Mexico – 125 km – Puebla – 363 km – Oaxaca
Your journey towards the Caribbean coast begins. Morning: drive to visit the historic center of colonial Puebla, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Puebla enjoys clean air and good quality of life, a city legendary for it’s chocolate sauce “mole”. Arrival to Oaxaca, check-in at the hotel.

Day 4: Oaxaca – 10 km – Monte Alban – Tule – 250 km – Tehuantepec
Tour to Monte Alban. This city-state is strategically situated at 2000 m above the sea-level and used to be a religious center of Zapotecs. Fascinating in its geometry, the city contains the ball games field, the observatory, the world-famous wall portrayals of the dancers etc. Arrival to the city of Tehuantepec. Check-in to the hotel.

Day 5: Tehuantepec – 370 km – Sumidero Canyon – San Cristobal de Las Casas
Early transfer to the famous Mexican Canyon of Sumidero where we will have a boat trip. You will be amazed of the exotic vegetation, caves and altars – Sumidero Canyon is one of the most fascinating places in Mexico. Again by land to the most Indian city, the former capital of the state of Chiapas, the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas. Check-in to the hotel.

Day 6: San Cristobal de las Casas – 220 km –Waterfall Misol Ha – Palenque
City Tour to the most “Indian” city of Mexico with a visit to its market. Visit to the Indian villages of Zinacatan and San Juan Chamula. Visit Waterfall Misol –Ha. Arrival to Palenque, check-in to the hotel.

Day 7: Palenque – 365 km – Campeche
This day you will visit the impressive Archaeological Zone of Palenque, UNESCO world heritage since 1987, and very important site belonging to the Mayan culture. From Palenque we will go to the beautiful colonial city of Campeche, located on the Gulf of Mexico, in the Yucatan Peninsula. Campeche is a walled city with colonial architecture with the spectacular Fort San Miguel.

Day 8: Campeche – 171 km – Uxmal – 80 km – Merida
After Campeche city tour we will depart to Uxmal, another ancient Mayan city, in the State of Yucatan, UNESCO world heritage since 1986, with a very important Archaeological Zone representative of the Puuc Culture, to finish this day in Merida, called Ciudad Blanca, capital of Yucatan

Day 9: Merida – 107 km – Chichen Itza – 50 km – Ek Balam – 180 km – Cancun
This day we will visit the Archaeological Zone of Chichen Itza, a very famous Mayan ruins complex, magnificent and enigmatic with its incomparable buildings, like the amazing Pyramid of Kukulkan, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, also known as El Castillo, a huge, stepped pyramid which domains the approximately 6.5 square kms of this ancient Mayan city. There are some other spectacular structures such as the Ball field and the Temple of warriors. Then we will take you to see the also very interesting Archaeological Zone of Ek Balam, to finally continue to the city of Cancun, known worldwide for its beautiful beaches colored in turquoise blue.
