Akagera National Park is alone the Tanzanian border and is to protect animals and vegetation in 3 ecoregions: savannah, mountain and swamp. It is also named as Kagera river.

DAY 1:
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you for custom clearance thereafter you drive 3 hours to Akagera National Park where you will check in at a Lodge for overnight.

DAY 2:
Akagera National Park, Rwanda
This morning after breakfast, proceed on a full day game drive through the savannah park with packed lunch on own account.
 
Check in at the lodge in the early evening for a well-deserved shower and overnight.

DAY 3:
Akagera National Park, Rwanda
You will be collected from the lodge in the early morning and taken on a scheduled morning boat trip.
Thereafter drive back to Kigali and be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

  • All accommodation on a shared basis; 
  • Meals as specified; 
  • Excursions and transfers as included in the quote; 
  • Services of the camp/lodge guides and staff; 
  • Scheduled morning Boat ride
  • Relevant park fees and entrance fees as specified in the quote; 
  • Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT) or Government Sales Tax (GST).
  • Emergency evacuation services within East Africa.   
 

Excludes:

  • Meals not specified in the quote such as lunch and dinner in city hotels.
  • Any drinks, park fees, entrance fees, porterage, tours/excursions and transfers not specified in the quote.
  • Any scheduled commercial flights and related taxes.
  • Cancellation, baggage and medical insurance.
  • Staff gratuities.
  • Any new Government Taxes, levies, fuel or industry increases which are beyond our control.
  • Visa fees where relevant. Should a visa payment be required, this will need to be made in US Dollar cash. 
  • Departure Taxes unless specified in the above.
  • Any items of a personal nature.
