CLIMBING KILIMANJARO


Around 30,000 people a year climb the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest free-standing mountain at 19,341 feet and Uhuru Peak is the highest summit on the Kibo's crater rim.

Kilimanjaro is a relatively safe climb and can be done any time of the year, however, the drier season is a more popular time to climb. 

Kilimanjaro has five popular climbing routes to the summit: Marangu, Machame, Rongai, Lemosho and Shira. Marangu is the easiest until the difficult final ascent while Machame and Lemosho routes are the scenic ones.

Marangu Route - 5 days: From USD 467* per climber

Machame Route - 6 days: From USD 638* per climber

Rongai Route - 6 days: From USD 750* per climber
