Explore the rich tapestry of Oman's landscapes and culture in this 7-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival transfer
Pass through the immigration and customs.  Our Chauffer will meet you outside the Airport (Land side) and escort to the vehicle parked outside.
Overnight stay in Muscat (B) 

Day 2: Muscat – Nizwa – Birkat al Mouz – Jabal Akhdar
Breakfast at Hotel 
Stop for a visit to the Grand Mosque, dedicated to Sultan Qaboos, modern and elegant, has become one of the symbols of the city, built from 1995 to 2001, famous for the beautiful Persian carpet and the incredible chandelier with 1122 bulbs, 8 tons of weight, the largest in the world. Later drive to the historic town of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. You visit the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq
Drive to visit the village of Barkat Al Mauz. Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations. We continue to Jabal Akhdar (2000 meters above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. Al Jabal Al Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid out terrace style along the slopes of mountains, which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj. The villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib (the village of the old houses) & Al Ain dot the landscape.  The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis. The roses of Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with fragrance when in full bloom (March / April). Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers.

Day 3: Nizwa - Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands
Breakfast 
Departure for Wadi Bani Khalid. Arrival and visit of this splendid mountain oasis-wadi crossed by a perennial stream that forms waterfalls and lakes bordered by palm trees. Free lunch. Departure for Al Wasil and then the Wahiba desert. Arrival and accommodation in the permanent camp.
In the afternoon departure for an exciting excursion into the desert to admire the large spaces, the curious sometimes bizarre shapes of the dunes shaped by the wind, which in this desert can reach 120 meters in height. After several photo stops we will reach the top of a dune to wait for the sunset which with its incredible colors will give unforgettable sensations. Our drivers will offer you a small snack with a cool drink. Return to the camp, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Wahiba Sands - Crossing the Desert – KHALUF – BAR AL HIKMAN
Breakfast and early morning departure for the crossing of the Wahiba Sands desert with the beautiful golden dunes, the deep valleys and the infinite spaces that will give visitors extraordinary images. Various photo stops in the most suggestive areas. The crossing will end on the coast near Qihayd where there is a large settlement of Bedouin fishermen, and from where we will continue south to Khaluf. Continuing along the beach you will reach an area of incredible beauty where the white sand desert fades into the blue and transparent sea. An enchanted landscape of pure beauty. 
Overnight at Bar Al Hikman / Al Ashkarah (B-D)   

Day 5: Bar al Hikman - Ras Ruways - Ras al Jinz
Breakfast and departure north for Ras Al Jinz, along an interesting coastal route, flanking the Arabian Sea through Bedouin settlements and characteristic villages. Photo stop at the salt pans near Mahut and continuation to Ras Ruways. Visit of the beautiful ocher dunes that fade into the sea and that at times compact creating unique lamellar formations.
Then stop in Al Khabbah to observe the cliffs. Arrival in Ras Al Jinz and accommodation in an eco-lodge. Dinner and overnight. After dinner, excursion to the turtle reserve, a protected area where the Chelonias Midas turtles, also known as the green turtle come to lay their eggs at night.
Overnight at Ras Al Jinz (B -D) 

Day 6: Ras al Jinz - Ser - Biman Sinkhole - Wadi Arbeen - Muscat
Breakfast and departure for Sur. Arrival and visit of the capital of the Southern Sharqiya region, once an important commercial center in particular for trade with Africa. Sur was also the last outpost where the Portuguese arrived. Visit of the factory of the “dhows”, the typical Omani boats, where here they are built completely by hand and in wood. We will then move to the Ayjah area which is located on a beautiful bay from where you can admire a beautiful view of the natural lagoon where Sur was born and which houses the Lighthouse. Continuing northwards, you will reach the so-called Biman Sinkhole, a singular geological formation consisting of a deep crater in the ground created by the sinking of the vault by the interaction of brackish water with the components of the rocks and at the bottom of which there is a kind of emerald lake. 
Departure for Wadi Arbeen, one of the most suggestive wadis in Oman crossed by perennial water that forms waterfalls and ponds. This wadi is set in a landscape of extraordinary beauty, a true oasis of peace in unspoiled nature. Late afternoon arrive in Muscat and check in at the hotel.

Day 7: Departure Transfer
Breakfast at Hotel.
After Breakfast, transfer to Muscat International Airport to board you flight back home.
