Experience the Nile River at its best! This safari adventure takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, which lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s most favourite park is crossed by the Nile as it flows to the Mediterranean. An adrenaline-rising adventure also awaits you in Jinja with a rafting expedition included.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
You arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where a representative or a driver/guide will welcome you to the Pearl of Africa and transfer you to the Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park
In the morning you depart Entebbe headed to Murchison Falls National Park with a refreshment break at Migyera on the Kampala-Gulu road. The drive to the ferry-crossing should take around 4-5 hours. 
After the ferry-crossing on the southern bank, you will check-in at your hotel and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, at 2.00pm, you will head out for the boat launch to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls. This three-hour boat cruise climaxes at the edge of the rift valley escarpment at which point you will get off the boat and trek to the top of the falls (wear sports shoes while on the boat for ease of trekking to the top). Having worked up a sweat, once at the top, get bathed in the misty spray that the Nile create as it forces itself into the 7-metre cleft to create the famous Murchison Falls. 
Your guides will be waiting up top to transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drives
After your breakfast at 6:30am, you will drive out for a game drive for a chance to view the glorious day-break from across the open savannah, birds and dotted woodland as well as riverine vegetation along the Nile. 
Wildlife on the northern bank where you explore this morning has game that includes Rothschild Giraffe, elephant, lions, oribis, waterbucks etc and a variety of savannah woodland birds. 
At between 11-12 midday, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch, relax at the lodge. 
Later in the evening, you will go out for an evening game drive to view this beautiful park and its inhabitants from a totally different perspective when the sun has gone down. If there is game you missed out on the morning game drive, you might be lucky in the evening. 
After your drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Jinja
Today, wake up at leisure and enjoy your breakfast. At 8.00 am after breakfast, you check-out and commence your transfer to Jinja - the Source of the Nile.
You will have lunch in Kampala en-route before completing your transfer to Jinja 80 kilometres east of Kampala. 
You arrive Jinja in the mid-afternoon and head to the Source of the Nile for a chance to see the Nile start its 6,000+ kilometres to the Mediterranean. After your visit to the Source of the Nile, you check-in at your  Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: White Water Rafting on the Nile
You can choose between a whole day or half day rafting expedition, whichever fits your adventure spirit. For the 12-year old not to miss out, you can chose a Family rafting expedition. Instead of choosing the wild rapids, you drift swiftly between beautiful forested islands. Children will love floating down the calmer section of the river. 
Alternatively, if white water rafting does not appeal to your adventure spirit, you can choose to go on a Quad bike safari (not included in price) along trails that have been developed beside the young Nile in Jinja. At the end of this exciting day, you relax back at the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
This morning, after your breakfast and at leisure, you will transfer to Entebbe via Kampala. Entebbe has a number of beaches to catch a quick lunch of a whole tilapia and potato chips. 
Later, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport in time for you to check-in for your departure flight home.
