Day 1: QAIA - AMMAN
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative and transfer to your hotel in Amman.
Day 2: AMMAN - AMMAN CITY TOUR - JERASH - AJLOUN - AMMAN
Breakfast. Today visit downtown Amman with your guide. High above the city, at the ancient Citadel, study the regal columns of a roman temple, an elegant Byzantine church, inventive carvings in the Umayyad Palace, plus digs and ruins everywhere you step. At the foot of the Citadel, take a seat in the Roman Theatre, carved into the hill. We will head to explore one of the most preserved Roman cities of the Decapolis "Jerash". Then drive through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the city of Ajloun dominated by the imposing fortress of Qa'lat Al Rabat overlooking the Jordan Valley.
Return to Amman for overnight.
Day 3: AMMAN - MADABA - MT. NEBO - KINGS WAY - KERAK - PETRA
Today, your first stop is Mount Nebo, the mountain where Moses was allowed to see the Holy Land but not allowed to enter it. Ever since the first days of Christianity this mountain has been a holy place and a destination for pilgrimage. Like Moses, from here you have a great view over Jordan, the Dead Sea and Israel. When the weather is clear, you should even be able to see Jerusalem, which is about 40 miles away. Continue to Madaba the 'City of Mosaics' that stands perched on an archaeological site with more than 4,000 years of history buried beneath it. Visit St. George's Church which houses the world famous mosaic floor. Next drive to Kerak, you will visit the huge castle where Saladin and Richard Lionheart fought during the crusade. After, drive to Petra for overnight.
Day 4: PETRA VISIT
Breakfast. Put on your walking shoes for a trek through the 'Rose-Red City' of Petra with your expert guide. Entrance to the city is through the Siq, a narrow gorge, over 1km in length, which is flanked on either side by soaring, 80m high cliffs. The colors and formations of the rocks are dazzling. As you reach the end of the Siq you will catch your first glimpse of Al-Khazneh (the Treasury). There are hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs and a massive Roman-style theatre. Overnight.
Day 5: PETRA - DEAD SEA - AMMAN
Breakfast. Drive to the world's largest natural spa and one of the most unique spots in the world - the Dead Sea where the water and mud of the sea have been recognized for their healing properties since Biblical times. Experience the strange sensation of floating effortlessly - its mystical waters contain so much salt and minerals - it is impossible to sink! A truly unique experience for both body and soul. Continue to Amman for overnight.
Day 6: AMMAN - QAIA
Breakfast. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport.
