Day 1: Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- Arrive at the SGR station for check-in and boarding.
- Depart from Dar Es Salaam to Morogoro by Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) with scenic views.
- Arrive at Morogoro Train Station; meet your guide for a transfer to Mikumi National Park (1.5 hours drive).
- Begin a full-day game drive in Mikumi, spotting elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and various antelopes.
- Break for lunch with a packed meal or at a picnic site near waterholes.
- Continue the game drive, exploring areas like the Mkata River floodplain, known for predator sightings.
- End the game drive and transfer to Tan-Swiss Lodge.
- Check-in at Tan-Swiss Lodge, featuring comfortable rooms and a swimming pool.
- Dinner at Tan-Swiss Restaurant, offering a mix of Tanzanian and European cuisine.
- Overnight at Tan-Swiss Lodge for a peaceful night in Mikumi.Day 2: Mikumi to Dar Es Salaam
- Breakfast at the lodge.
- Optional short game drive or nature walk based on preferences.
- Check out from Tan-Swiss Lodge and transfer back to Morogoro.
- Arrive at Morogoro Train Station for your return trip to Dar Es Salaam; check-in and boarding for the train.
- Depart from Morogoro to Dar Es Salaam by SGR.
- Arrive back at Dar Es Salaam Train Station as per ticket timings.
