Expo's are events meant to showcase achievement and foster cooperation.
Nations across the globe and throughout the years have held expos such as The World's Fair.
The Dubai Expo 2020 will be the next "world's fair." This will be the world's first international exposition to be held in an Arab nation and the first to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region.
About Expo 2021 Formerly known as Expo 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exposition has officially been postponed to be held from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. The Expo was originally scheduled for 2020 and was to be known as Expo 2020. To ensure the safety of our attendees and our participant during this uncertain time, we decided to postpone it to 2021.
Where Will It Be?
The Expo 2021 is in the South District of the Emirate of Dubai. It is near the Al Maktoum International Airport. The exposition can be easily reached from the Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, and the cruise terminals in Abu Dhabi.
If you are in Downtown Dubai, you should be able to reach the Expo in 40 minutes by car. The Dubai Metro will also extend its route to go directly to the Expo.
What Else Can I Do?
The six months scheduled for the Expo 2021 will be one of the most exciting moments in the history of Dubai and definitely in your life.
We suggest spending as much time as you can at the exposition. One day will not be enough to enjoy the excitement at the exposition.
You'll be able to view beautiful works of art from different disciplines and from artists from many different cultural backgrounds. There will also be live performances of music, delicious cuisine from different countries, as well as stunning architectural works to witness.
While you will be able to explore the unique culture and history of the United Arab Emirates, you will also get to explore the history and culture of 192 other nations. You will also be able to mingle with Emirati's and visitors from all over the world. Rare is the opportunity to interact with so many different cultures and come across unique perspectives in one setting.
For the person who feels connected to the world and is amazed by how interconnected the different nations and cultures are coming together, the exposition will not disappoint. The Expo 2021 will have over 60 live performances each day including pop-up theaters and operas. There will also be flash mobs, sporting events, and celebrations for each country represented.
There will also be exhibitions on innovative technology. This will include self-driving cars, robotic technology, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and space technology. For young children, there are two parks for playing.
