After two Boeing plane crashes, Boeing grounded all its 787 Max planes to provide critical software updates. The company updated the Manoeuvring Characteristics Augmentation (MCAS) software and has completed simulator tests. Boeing says that the updated software has been used on 360 hours of 207 flights. Before the planes are in the air again, Boeing will work with the FAA to provide documentation and submit final certification documents. In addition to the updated software, Boeing has developed enhanced training and education materials that are also being reviewed by the FAA.
