Mnemba Island Renovation - Enhancing Barefoot Luxury and Sustainability

26th February, 2024 12:54:50

Mnemba Island, our cherished private barefoot paradise, is temporarily closing for an extensive refurbishment, set to reopen on October 1, 2024. Steeped in Zanzibar's rich history and spice trade legacy, the island will undergo a complete transformation during this period. The 12 beachside Bandas, including a Family Banda, will be renovated and expanded, inspired by a nautilus seashell design. The Guest Area will see structural changes, and the island's dive centers will feature an Oceans Without Borders interpretative center for conservation engagement. A new Wellness Banda with spa treatment rooms and a yoga deck will be introduced. Noteworthy sustainability initiatives, such as solar power installation, align with our commitment to eco-friendly practices. The refurbishment aims to enhance Mnemba Island's intimate charm while introducing exciting new improvements. We look forward to welcoming you back to an even more enchanting retreat from October 1, 2024.
