On Friday 19th March entry was banned for travellers from Ethiopia, Qatar, Oman & Somalia with only British, Irish or third country residency holders permitted entry.

Travellers will have to enter government approved hotel quarantine facility for 10 days

Commercial flights will be banned from these destinations (impacting Ethiopian Airlines & Qatar Airways flights).

On Friday 19th March, Mauritius was removed from the 'red list'. Travellers will no longer need to enter government approved hotel quarantine but must self isolate at home for 10 days taking tests on day 2 and day 8 with the option to end self isolation on day 5 with 'Test to Release'.
