Be a Santa to a Senior - Give a gift of cheer :)

The Christmas season is upon us and we are once again teaming up with Tushikamane Pamoja Foundation and the community-at-large to start our campaign - be a Santa to a Senior. In a month's time, a lot of seniors living in poverty and isolation will receive Christmas Cheer and a present from Santa.

The "Be a Santa to a Senior" program, encourages members of the community to purchase gifts for those in need. The program, being launched this month, centres around a bunch of Christmas trees set up at each of the three Rickshaw offices in Dar es salaam.

Pope Francis has concluded his visit to Africa after meeting with not just heads of state and other dignitaries, students, etc, but also some of the most marginalized populations in Kenya, Uganda and the Central African Republic (CAR). His main message to all communities was that of peace and tolerance towards each other.

Tanzania: Post-election tourism flow set to increase

The recent peaceful election in Tanzania has been described as yet another important factor in boosting the country's travel and hospitality industry. The Executive for the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO), Mr Sirili Akko, said despite the travel advisory issued by some western countries, warning their citizens against travelling to the country during the periods of campaigns and polls, many foreign visitors continued to flock here.

Uganda and Queen Elizabeth National Park top tourist attraction in E. Africa

Uganda and Queen Elizabeth have been listed by Lonely Planet as one of the region's valued destinations and attractions tourists should look out for in 2016. Other countries in East Africa (EA) named were Kenya and Tanzania.

Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda single visa to boost tourism

Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, which had launched a single visa initiative earlier this year, were leveraging on technology to remove hurdles in the promotion of tourism in the region to boost tourism.

Hi Roselyne, I have been meaning to contact you since we got back to say a massive THANK YOU. Our safari was truly amazing. We got very lucky and had our amazing tour guide Mike to ourselves.

Honestly he is such an asset to your team. He's fun, friendly and a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Kenya. I was sad to say bye to him at the end of the trip. Your support was also great Roselyne so thanks again for all the perfect arrangements you made. Especially the hot air balloon ride. Watching the sunrise over Kenya was a once in a life time experience which I will never forget.

All the hotels were great. The only feedback I gave on your survey form was for the plug sockets to work in the land cruiser and pillows to be provided for those long drives (which was a joke). As Mike pointed out we shouldn't be sleeping. I will definitely be recommending you to friends.
