Day 1: Arrival in Tehran
After arrival at hotel in Tehran, we visit Sa’ad Abad palace complex and Darband mountainous area in the afternoon.
Day 2: Tehran
Today we go to Golestan palace complex, Iran National museum, National Jewelry museum and finally to Qasr museum, watching some Pahlevani and Zurkhaneh rituals.
Day 3: Tehran to Isfahan
Heading to Isfahan (450 km), we visit Abyaneh village (320 km) on our way, discovering architecture
and anthropology of the region. Then get back on track to Isfahan.
Day 4: Isfahan
Today we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (including Imam mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, Ali Qapu and Traditional Bazaar), visiting Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sotoun palace.
Day 5: Isfahan
On our second day in Isfahan, we visit Vank church, Menar Jonban and two of city’s historical bridges: Siose Pol and Khaju and finally Jame’ mosque of Isfahan, a stunning illustration of the evolution of mosque architecture over twelve centuries in Iran.
Day 6: Isfahan to Yazd
Leaving for Yazd (320 km), first we visit Meibod and historical mosque of Naeen on our way and then go to the Zoroastrian temple of Chak-Chak before arrival in Yazd.
Day 7: Yazd
Visiting city’s Jame’ mosque, we walk in one of the oldest towns on earth, Yazd’s Old Town. Then go to Dolat Abad garden visiting Iran’s loftiest wind catcher and finally Amir Chakhmaq complex.
Day 8: Yazd to Shiraz
Leaving for Shiraz (440 km), Iran’s oldest cypress tree is right on the way in Abarkooh city (155 km from Yazd) as well as Pasargadae, where tomb of the most popular King of ancient Iran, Cyrus the Great is located.
Day 9: Shiraz
We head to Persepolis (60 km from Shiraz) to discover ancient civilization of Persia, as well as Naqsh-e Rustam relief, and Quran Gate.
Day 10: Shiraz
Karimkhan citadel and Vakil historical complex with its bath, bazaar and mosque are on the list today. We go to Narenjestan-e Qavam garden and Nasir Al-Molk mosque afterwards. At night, we feel the mystic atmosphere in the sorrounding area of tomb of Hafez.
Day 11, Leaving Iran
It’s time to bid farewell to Iran as we get transferred to the airport early in the morning for the return flight home.
