The Everest Base Camp trek has been hyping up many passionate and enthusiastic adventurous people making it a journey of a lifetime. The journey to the EBC trek itself holds legendary history created by two famous pairs on May 29, 1953. It’s no other than Sir Edmund Hillary and Sir Tenzing Norgay who have paved the way for future trekkers to the world's tallest mountain “Everest” through EBC which is located on the southern slopes of Nepal. Hillary and Norgay were the ones who stored their supplies at the base of the mountain which was a wise decision and therefore gave birth to  Everest Base Camp. Everest doesn’t stand alone on the land of the Khumbu region, it stands with other magnificent renowned mountains such as Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Mera Peak, Nuptse, Makalu, Island Peak and many more. Hence, trekkers got to gaze upon the entire astounding Himalayan ranges en route to EBC.

EBC trek gives the opportunity to have up-close contact with the highest peak. At the beginning and end of your journey, you'll take the world’s most thrilling and scenic flight to and from Lukla. These impressive landscapes have many more to offer including alluring glaciers, dazzling peaks, and beautiful forests, visit ancient Buddhist monasteries, magnificent lakes, etc. Moreover, you will be introduced to Sherpa cultures, traditions, and lifestyles and savour their local cuisine. Sherpas are such adorable people who are renowned for their good hospitality, cheerfulness, and humorous nature. Plus, you may get a chance to encounter rare and endangered wild species including Musk deer, Red panda, Snow leopards, Himalayan Tahrs, etc. At the time of spring, the trek route looks inviting as Himalayan flowers bloom making your trip vibrant and lively, especially rhododendrons of different colours.
