This 6-day itinerary offers a remarkable adventure in Rwanda, with a focus on exploring its natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage.

Day 1:
Upon your arrival in the afternoon , the driver will pick you up from the airport and drive you straight to Volcanoes National Park. Drive time is approx. 3 hours. 
Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel on full board basis 

Day 2:
Early morning 06:30 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to the Rwanda Development board office for briefing by 07:00am and here you will be assigned a gorilla family. You will trek and depending on the gorilla family, the trek may last anywhere between 2 – 6 hours. After trek you will check in at the hotel to freshen up, have a hot lunch and then rest this evening or you can visit the Ellen De Genres Campus and / experience the history and conservation of Gorillas and rwanda in general before checking in at your hotel .

Day 3:
Early morning 06:30 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to the Rwanda Development board office for briefing and here you will start your hike to Mt Karimsimbi.
Mount Karisimbi is an inactive volcano in the Virunga Mountains on the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At 4,507 metres (14,787 ft), Karisimbi is the highest of the eight major mountains of the mountain range, which is a part of Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift. Karisimbi is flanked by Mikeno to the north, Bisoke to the east and Nyiragongo to the west, on the other side of the Rift Valley. Karisimbi is the 11th highest mountain of Africa.
The name Karisimbi comes from the word 'amasimbi' in the local language, Kinyarwanda, which means snow. Snow can mostly be found during the dry season in June, July and August on the top of the volcano.
Between Karisimbi and Bisoke is the Karisoke Research Center, which was founded by Dian Fossey in order to observe the mountain gorillas living in this area.

Day 4:
After enduring a cold night and having an early morning breakfast, you will be ready to get to the summit . It takes about an hour but is challenging as there may be rains, thick fog and heavy winds.
Once you summit and engulf in the spectacular scenery, you spend some time to have views of the Muhabura Volcano, the Nyamulagira volcano and Nyiragongo , vegetation within the Virunga range and the Republic of Congo. Get ready for a 6 to 7 hours descend back to the starting point and then to the park office after which you will then head back to your hotel to recover and rest.

Day 5:
In the morning post a leisurely breakfast around 1100 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to Kigali. The drive time is approx 3 to 3.5 hours and you can stop for a nice meal in Kigali ( on own account ) before heading to your hotel to spend the evening in leisure and rest
P.S :Lunch and dinner on this day is on own account

Day 6:
After breakfast check out at around 0900am and then for a short city tour in Kigali.

From the car , you visit the downtown and enjoy the locals go about their daily activities.

Which includes seeing the Convention Center , Parliament and other prominent landmarks.

Kigali Genocide Memorial
The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. Once here you will learn about The ’94 Genocide against Tutsi, and the overall history of Rwanda including the pre-colonial and post-colonial. You will also get a chance to learn about the genocides and other mass killings that have happened all over the world, at the end of the visit you will have a chance to pay respect to the mass grave that hold more than 250,000 victims.

Lunch at Repub Lounge
Repub Lounge is one of the best restaurants when it comes down to local cuisine. Their large and diverse menu features grills and specialty dishes that showcase East African Food.

After lunch you will head to the airport for your flight back.
