This 5-day safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south-western Uganda. Bwindi is a verdant magnificent swathe of rain forest across the steep ridges of the Albertine Rift Valley. This ancient rainforest is one of the few on the African continent to have flourished and a home to half of the world’s endangered population of Mountain Gorillas.

- 7:30 am - Pick-up from your hotel in Kampala
- Head west towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Stop at the equator for photos and souvenir shopping
- Drive approximately 495 km and enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley
- Arrive at lodge in early evening
- Dinner at lodge
- Overnight at lodge.
Day 02:
Bwindi
- Breakfast at lodge.
- Depart lodge with picnic lunch boxes.
- Assembly at nearest ranger post for introduction and briefing.
- Begin gorilla tracking expedition.
- View gorillas for one hour.
- Return to ranger post.
- Return to lodge.
- Dinner at lodge.
- Overnight at lodge.
Day 03:

- Depart Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

- Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Optional route through Ishasha area (depending on road conditions)
