Day 1 : Tour Begins • Arrive in London
We begin 'Highlights Of UK tour” in the capital of the country, London, the city
that boasts as much of a rich historic past as it does of a modern cityscape. Today, we arrive in London
and are warmly welcomed by a representative who meets us at the airport’s exit. Our
representative then ensures that we are comfortably transferred to our hotel. (Check-In after 1600
Hours)
Our today’s schedule comprises enjoying a sumptuous dinner which will be served at an Indian
restaurant and returning to the hotel for a good night’s sleep. (D)

Note :- Depending on the flight availability, you may arrive in Birmingham, Manchester,
Gatwick, Heathrow or similar Airports.

Day 2 : In London • Guided City Tour of London • Visit Victoria & Albert Museum • Visit Natural
History Museum • Free Time at Oxford Street

After breakfast today, we kick off our London exploring expedition with a guided tour of the city
which takes us past all monumental structures of the town including the Hyde Park, the Piccadilly
Circus, the Trafalgar Square, the Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the Westminster Abbey, the
Buckingham Palace (also witness the Change of Guard ceremony at the palace depending on
operational technicalities), the London Bridge and many others.

Next on our itinerary is a visit to one of the world’s largest museums of art, the Victoria & Albert
Museum. The museum houses a collection of over 2.3 million objects from various streams of art
including fine arts, photography, architecture, fashion, etc. forming a narrative that spans over a
period of 5000 years. Given that the museum was established with the sole purpose of serving as a
classroom for art and design, the buildings themselves are a fine masterpiece of Victorian architecture,
one that has often left sightseers in awe.
After spending some time in the plush settings of the museum, we move on to our next destination, the
Natural History Museum. As can be guessed from the name itself, the museum is dedicated to natural
sciences housing some 80 million odd specimens that narrate the evolution of life on earth; from
fossils of the tiniest insects to the skeleton of a 25.2-metre tall female whale (the newest addition to
the Green Zone) to that of a giant Stegosaurus. Making this journey of existentialism even more fun
and dramatic are the interactive exhibits such as the earthquake simulator or the ride into the centre
of the earth.

Overwhelmed with our excursions so far, we bring the day to a close on a lighter note as we spend
some free time at the Oxford Street, one of Europe’s busiest fashion streets. Here, you could either
give in to the urge to splurge or simply sit back with a cup of tea or coffee taking in the hustle-bustle of
this lively street.

We then head back to our hotel, grab dinner and call it a night. (B, D)

Day 3 : In London • Day Free • Optional London Delights Tour
After breakfast, we can either spend our day at leisure lazing around at the hotel or embark on a selfexploration journey or choose to take the highly recommendable London Delights Tour. If we choose
the last, however, we sure are in for something downright amazing.
The optional London Delights Tour takes us to two of the city’s most sought-after attractions, the
London Eye and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
We begin with a ride on the iconic giant wheel, the London Eye. With a maximum height of 135
metres, this 30-minute ride gives you a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the town and its monumental
structures such as the Houses of Parliament, the Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin,
the Shard, etc. and also of the adjoining River Thames.
We then move on to the single most star-studded museum in the world, Madame Tussauds Wax
Museum. With 14 interactive zones and over 300 life-like wax figures, you are sure to find yourself
entrapped in the world of stardom. You could sip on a cup of tea with Her Majesty the Queen, join the
Royals at the Royal Balcony, embark upon an intergalactic journey with the Star Wars setup, strike a
pose with Hollywood bigwigs, click selfies with sports legends and Bollywood stars and a lot more.
After this delightful meet-n-greet with the celebs, we head back to our hotel, feast on a yummy dinner
and hit the bed. (B, D)

Day 4 : In London • Day Free • Optional UK Heritage Tour
We have yet another day filled with choices!
Today after breakfast, you can either enjoy some free time by yourself or choose to go on the optional
UK Heritage Tour.
The optional UK Heritage Tour takes us to the Windsor Castle & Oxford tour, both must-see
destinations of UK.

We begin our day with a visit to the world’s largest and oldest inhabited castle, the Windsor Castle,
which is a weekend home for the Queen. The majestic stone structure boasts of some of the finest
pieces of art in the form of wall paintings, ceiling frescos, ceramics, plush décor, ornate furniture and
other indicators of the opulence of royal life. Other highlights of the castle include the Windsor Great
Park with a sculpture garden, Queen Mary’s Doll House and St. George’s Chapel.
Next on our list is a visit to the tiny, yet beautiful town of Oxford, home to the English-speaking world’s
oldest university, the Oxford University. Unlike other popular universities, the Oxford University isn’t
a campus university; instead, it comprises of several buildings spread out in the town. But given that
the town is small enough to explore on foot, it makes for quite a thrilling experience to walk through
its historic stone structures. If walking through the towers of Harry Potter’s magic school, Hogwarts
has been a dream of yours, a walking tour of Oxford is probably the closest you’ll come to living your
dream.
Contended yet tired from the day’s excursion, we head back to the hotel, have a delectable dinner and
happily head back to our rooms. (B, D)

Day 5 : Onto Manchester • Free Time at Albert Square • Orientation Tour of
Manchester • Homeward Bound

We are already on our final day of the tour and we still have some sightseeing to do. So, we quickly
grab our breakfast, check out of the hotel and head straight to Manchester. A long drive through UK’s
beautiful cityscapes and a short comfort break later we arrive in the very heart of Manchester, the
Albert Square. Here we spend some free time self-exploring the square in all its Gothic-Victorian
glory with architectural gems like the Town Hall (the dominant structure of the square), the memorial
of Prince Albert (the first of many Albert memorials in UK) and the Gothic style Jubilee Fountain
among others.
We then continue to explore more of this relatively small yet wonderful town with the orientation
tour, wandering past monumental structures such as the Manchester Museum, John Rylands Library,
the Old Trafford stadium and many others.
And just like that, it’s time to bring this holiday to a close. With a mind full of great memories and a bag
full of souvenirs, we proceed to the Manchester airport to board our flight back home. (B)
