Dar – Morogoro – Mikumi
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam in the morning by your English-speaking driver-guide
in your own private safari vehicle. After loading up your luggage and settling in, you will head on West out of Dar es Salaam and towards Mikumi National Park, passing through the town of Morogoro.
You will stopover in Morogoro for a hot lunch and some rest before you head on off again toward the Mikumi Village.
You can opt to have a quick walk-around of the town to soak in the local arts and culture if you choose.
Upon arrival, you will head straight to your lodge where you will be checked in for the night. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2:
Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up by your driver-guide in the morning and head towards the Mikumi National Park entry gate, a short distance away. Your entry permits will be processed upon arrival at the gate. Use this time to disembark and walk around the area and take a few memorable photos.
Once your permits have been processed, you will head on into the National Park for a full day’s game drive of this wonderful and expansive landscape.
Your lunch stop will be at one of the designated picnic lunch sites within the National Park. You can engage your driverguide to plan out the stop at a time of your convenience. Your game drive will continue after lunch.
Towards the late afternoon, or whenever you have had enough, you will start making your way back towards the park gate, exit and make your back towards your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3:
Mikumi – Bagamoyo/Udzungwa - Dar es Salaam

After a lazy breakfast, you will check-out of your lodge, load up your luggage and start making your way back towards Dar es Salaam.
You can also opt for an additional activity from the add-ons list on this day. You can choose to head straight to Dar es Salaam, visit the Sanje Waterfalls in the nearby Udzungwa Mountains National Park or take a detour through the historic Township of Bagamoyo on your way to Dar es Salaam.
You will be dropped off at your accommodation upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, bringing this safari to an end.
