ACTIVITIES OPTION

Olduvai Gorge Museum: 
Between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park is the famous Olduvai 
Gorge, a museum that hosts some of the earliest remains of the earliest human species known to 
mankind. Its importance in invaluable to the theory of evolution, and is a must-visit site for anyone 
interested in the being of life today! While at the museum you’ll get the chance to view some of the 
earliest known fossils in existence.

Maasai Boma Visit:
On your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, having left the Serengeti National Park, you’ll come 
across an authentic Maasai Boma. A Boma is a collection of huts, typically made of Mud or Cow Dung 
inhabited by the semi-nomadic tribe that still call the Ngorongoro home. Here, you can learn about the 
Maasai way of life, their culture and their beliefs. If the time is right, you may even get to taste their 
food prepared fresh by the local “mama’, have religious symbols painted on you, or even get to milk 
their prized cows! As close as you’ll ever get to a tribe of people unadulterated by the desires of the 
world.

Balloon Safari:
A romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you gracefully and 
silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wild life in the early morning! You’ll be picked up before 
breakfast in the morning to be driven to a safe point, ready to embark as the sun is about to rise and 
animals are about to retire to the shade. An experience quite like no other!

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport – Tarangire National Park 
Arrive Kilimanjaro airport before 9h00 meet and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive with packed lunch 
The Park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great 
Rift Valley floor. 
After a game drive in Tarangire you will be driven to your hotel at Manyara area for dinner and overnight

Driving time from Kilimanjaro airport to Tarangire – Approx- 3 hours

Day 2: Manyara Area - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive from Karatu heading to Serengeti via Ngorongoro conservation 
Area Leaving the highlands behind, and enter the Serengeti National Park with its endless 
plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. 
You will enjoy your picnic lunch boxes on the way and the enroute afternoon game drive in the 
Serengeti National Park. After the game drive in the park the drive will take you to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Driving time from Manyara Area to Serengeti – Approx- 4hours 

Day 3: Serengeti National Park 
After breakfast, you will have a full day tour in Serengeti National Park with packed lunch 
Exploring the beauty of the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
After the game drive in the park the drive will take you to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro conservation Area  
After breakfast you will check out from lodge and start your day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. You’ll be in the presence of nature at its most pristine, including a chance to see some of the big cats!
You will enjoy your picnic lunch; there after you will be driven to Karatu via Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner and overnight

Driving time – Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Approx - 3 hours 

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater – Kilimanjaro airport  
After breakfast the driver will pick you and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area drive, you will descend into this magnificent crater for half day Crater tour, packed lunch will 
be served    
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is 
home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. There after the driven to Kilimanjaro airport for evening onward flight back home
