ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES - As of July 1, 2013, Ethiopian Airlines will commence flights to Brazil, which has one of the fastest growing economies in the world. This new route to Sao Paulo & Rio de Janeiro will feature the cabin products and features of the new 787 Dreamliner.

Fly Uganda and Coastal Aviation have partnered to provide a special through rate when combining their flight services. The through rate applies when using Fly Uganda Seat Rates from Uganda's National Parks to connect with Coastal Aviation's service between Entebbe and the Serengeti.

 
 

CHAKA CAMP SERENGETI

Chaka Camp, a new tented camp located in Serengeti National Park, moves seasonally to follow the migration. Chaka Camp operates 'off-the-grid' and relies on a custom built solar system for its power. Room fabrics are handwoven African designs, and the camp's furniture and decor were designed and built by artisans in Arusha, Tanzania.

 

VIRGIN LIMITED'S NEWEST RETREAT TO OPEN IN KENYA

To celebrate its official Aug. 1 opening, the resort is offering a free night on bookings of five nights or more arriving after Sept. 21. Mahali Mzuri is is situated within the Motorogi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara ecosystem of Kenya, about 150 miles due west of Nairobi. Because of its location, guests are promised a front row seat to the Great Migration between July and October as well as abundant game-viewing year-round.

TANZANIA: PARK FEES REDUCED FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS

British Airways (BA) is likely to resume its operations in Tanzania, Deputy British High Commissioner to Tanzania, Julian Chandler has hinted. The envoy was responding to questions from the media regarding the UK-Tanzania business relations during a press conference held in Dar es Salaam.
