In my usual browsing of the internet, I came across this article about two friends taking a journey to Tanzania - one a local boy, Venance, returning home after his studies and along with him came his friend Kristen, a young lady from a privileged American family. They chronicled their journey in a documentary, which I am sure will touch your heart as it did mine. "A short synopsis - He’s from a place so old it’s been called the cradle of mankind. Rwandair takes over Air Uganda's Entebbe route

Rwandair has taken over the Kigali-Entebbe route previously operated by Air Uganda. This follows the temporary suspension of flights into Kigali International Airport by the Ugandan-based airline, which opted to operate the route under a code share with RwandAir, airline officials have said.

South Africa clears low-fare carrier

FlySafair, a new South African low-fare carrier, has received its domestic air service license to operate domestic scheduled flights within South Africa. FlySafair is here for the long run, said Dave Andrew, CEO of Safair. He added: We are eager to provide South Africans with an alternate low-cost airline that is dedicated to offering competitive and sustainable fares between Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Kenya: JamboJet launches operations

Kenya Airways' low-cost subsidiary Jambojet launched its first flight on April 1 after nearly three years on the drawing board. The inaugural Boeing 737 flight took off from Jambojet's Nairobi home base for Mombasa with 120 passengers on board.

Dear Sheena, Apologies for writing back so late, but just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our safari memorable and enjoyable. It was the best holiday we have ever had as a family and all credit goes to you for organizing it and making sure everything ran smoothly.
