TESTIMONIAL

Rickshaw Caares | India

I was back in India, just 6 months after my first medical check-up for a review and to undergo the medical procedures that were recommended by the specialists.

I had a perfectly arranged travel, comfortable stay, surgery at a well-equipped medical center, NOVA, meticulous pre and post-op procedures and the finest rejuvenating and curative treatment at an ayurvediccentre - all arranged by 'Rickshaw Caares'. It's a healthy and rewarding experience not a bother - no concerns - no worries.

From sorting out visa and flights, to settling me into my room at the health centre, Rickshaw Caares gave me personalized attention that sets them apart in the industry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an all-encompassing health care system.

Why should I care, when Rickshaw Caares!

EATING, EXERCISE & MORE AT AN INDIAN HEALTH SPA

FITNESS ON THE ROAD

Several years ago, my friend Mary and I decided to take a trip to take care of our health - and ourselves. Mary and I met in Bangalore, where a cab driver picked us up for our hour-long journey to Jindal. I found out later that Jindal was just a popular name for this charitable hospital called The Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (INYS).

Today there are hundreds of “Health Spas” catering to clients of all budgets and lifestyles. A stay at INYS is not for those looking for a holiday resort or spa, but a place for those seeking treatment for what ails them. And that is just what it did for me.

Keeping up your fitness routine while you're travelling can seem like a challenge, but it doesn't have to be.  Here are a few easy things you can do to keep fit and have fun while on the road.

1. Use your weight - Exercising doesn't have to mean expensive gym equipment, large pools or outdoor tracks. Pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, squats and lunges are just a few examples of exercises that require no equipment, minimal space, and pack a lot of punch.
