GOLFING COMES ALIVE AT LAKE VICTORIA SERENA
Visiting Lake Victoria Serena Resort & Spa just got better with the launch of the first 9- holes of the 18-hole championship golf course. The 124 Villa Resort will now offer travellers a whole new experience while on business and leisure. The Resort lies a mere 30km from Entebbe International Airport and 15km from Kampala on the shores of Lake Victoria, Kigo District.
The course has been carefully designed by Golf Plan USA, and boasts of sweeping views of the lake. Upon completion, it will offer a challenging layout and beautiful scenery.
The finishing hole has an Island green that is not seen in many courses around the world. It is also the first golf course in Uganda to have bent grass.
The bunkers have been well designed and top quality sand has been added for an amazing feel while playing.
