Jambojet Expands with new Zanzibar-Mombasa Flights
Jambojet, a leading African airline known for its affordable fares, expands its regional network with the introduction of direct flights between Zanzibar and Mombasa, starting July 1st, 2024. This marks the airline's 8th destination and reflects its commitment to connecting underserved routes. CEO Mr. Karanja Ndegwa highlights the decision's significance in bolstering tourism and trade between the two countries, while Hon. Dr. Khalid Salum Mohamed, Minister of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport, Zanzibar, applauds the initiative for enhancing Zanzibar's tourism potential. With flights operating four times a week and fares starting from USD 113, the launch coincides with Jambojet's upcoming 10th anniversary, underscoring its continued growth and recognition as a leading low-cost airline in Africa.
