Mara North Conservancy Implements New Vehicle Policies
The Mara North Conservancy (MNC) has issued a memorandum outlining regulations for the use of third-party game viewing motor vehicles and self-drive vehicles within the conservancy. Effective until December 31st, 2024, third-party motor vehicles must adhere to specific guidelines, including having a Tourism Partner Guide onboard and conforming to MNC's Third Party Game Drive Vehicle policy. Additionally, self-drive vehicles must be parked at the MNC HQ car park, and guests must be collected by member camp vehicles for game drives. The policy aims to manage tourism activities while preserving the conservation area's integrity and visitor experience.
