Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Commitee this year.
The Unesco World Heritage Committee has added 42 new sites to its list this year. It now includes nine new natural sites, with three in Africa, and 33 new cultural sites, three of which are in Africa.
Nyungwe National Park (Rwanda) is one of the nine new natural world heritage sites.
