TWICE THE ADVENTURE WITH 2 GORILLA TREKS

Day 1:
Upon your arrival in the afternoon, the driver will pick you up from the airport and drive you to Kigali Marriott hotel for your check in.
Then you can proceed  to have a Half day City tour this day . Highlights as below. 

Tour of Nyamirambo
From the car, you visit the downtown and enjoy the locals go about their daily activities.
Tour of the city 
Which includes seeing the Convention Center , Parliament and other prominent landmarks.
Kigali Genocide Memorial 
The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. Once here you will learn about The ’94 Genocide against Tutsi, and the overall history of Rwanda including the pre-colonial and post-colonial. You will also get a chance to learn about the genocides and other mass killings that have happened all over the world, at the end of the visit you will have a chance to pay respect to the mass grave that hold more than 250,000 victims.

Day 2:
Early morning 04:30 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to the Rwanda Development board office for briefing by 07:00am and here you will be assigned a gorilla family. You will trek and depending on the gorilla family, the trek may last anywhere between 2 – 6 hours. Post trek you will check in at the hotel to freshen up, have a hot lunch and then rest this evening or you can visit the Ellen De Genres Campus and / experience the history and conservation of Gorillas and rwanda in general before checking in at your hotel .
Drive time is approx. 2.5 hrs to 3 hours.
Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel on full board basis 

Day 3:
Early morning 06:30 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to the Rwanda Development board office for briefing and here you will be assigned ANOTHER gorilla family. You will trek and depending on the gorilla family, the trek may last anywhere between 2 – 6 hours. Post trek you will check in at the hotel to freshen up, have a hot lunch and then rest this evening or opt to drive around the district.
Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel on full board basis

Day 4:
In the morning post breakfast around 0900 am, the driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you to Kigali. The drive time is approx 3 to 3.5  hours and you can stop for a nice meal in Kigali (on own account) before heading to the international airport for your flight back to Kenya
