As we end 2023 and begin 2024, we reflect on another blessed year in our magnanimous industry which is growing from strength to strength despite the challenges the world continues to face. We can only be grateful and stay mindful of our environments and the upcoming events in 2024.

We have not just overcome but have been resilient and positive through the last couple of years which has given us more gratitude and humility to keep going strong. It is not always about the numbers but about the people you have around you and what you can do together – and I will personally say our teams in Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda have been steadfast with our guests but also with each other and that has been the foundation of our strength. A big shout out to our teams (guides, mechanics, maintenance, operations, finance, admin/ HR and all alike) for being the unique mix of personalities that make us what we are today.

2024 brings a year of new trends with guests planning their travel more in advance, a change in travel policies with corporates to make travel more efficient and affordable. Airlines and hotels are expanding routes and properties respectively in more areas especially in Africa which signifies the growth and potential for investment in our region. The Rickshaw Travel Group has lots of exciting promotions, products and some interesting goodies in store for the upcoming season. So lets ring in 2024 with a start up bang and get going

Sisti was an amazing tour guide! He had so much knowledge on the animals and spotted them from so far away. He was kind enough to let us borrow his binoculars and explained exactly where to look! He also took very good care of us. Explaining to us every step of the way where we were going answering all of our questions. The vehicle was always very clean and he took such good care of us making sure our box lunches were in the car, we had bottled water any time we needed it, and making sure we were ok at all times.
