Acacia Mining - Kilimanjaro Climb Challenge 2015

Acacia Mining organized a climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Education in Tanzania. The team of climbers, which included staff, family and friends, was led by CEO, Andrew Wray and raised over $420,000. Every cent raised will be spent on education projects in Tanzania by CanEducate, a charity that provides educational sponsorships to impoverished and at-risk children in developing countries.

Rickshaw Denmark celebrates the Tall Ships

Last month, the city of Aalborg in Denmark hosted The Tall Ships races where around 100 sail ships from all over the world anchored in the harbour, alongside our Aalborg offices. We took advantage of the beautiful summer weather and moved our office premises outside onto the street.

Emirates to launch longest non-stop flight in the world to Panama City

Emirates (Dubai) has announced the commencement of a daily service to Orlando, Florida as of September 1, 2015 and Bamako, Mali in October 2015. In November Bologna will be added. As well, Emirates plans to launch services to Panama City, the longest nonstop flight in the world (17 hours 35 minutes in the westbound direction), beginning February 1, 2016 and as well will operate four new flights between Dubai and Phuket from December 1, 2015.

Qatar airways ups frequencies to Asmara

Effective 06th of September will Qatar Airways add a fifth flight from Doha to Asmara, operated nonstop on an Airbus A320 aircraft which offers 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.
